Post UNDERGRADUATE SORORS THE WORK STILL CONTINUES

Hello All, I want to toss the topic of why undergraduate sorors don't feel the need to join GRADUATE CHAPTERS? I have been in a graduate chapter since 97', and I have also remained very active with the undergraduate chapters in the area. Though many pledge, few carry the dedication on to a graduate level. Though we do not have as many step shows or parties to prepare for, we do continue to work very hard in our various communities, and we need the support of our undergraduate Sorors.
If there is something that I am missing please inform me the Service never ends. I would love to see new and innovative ideas that come from undergraduates passing the love and commitment to a Graduate Chapter.

I opted for general membership because of the cost of joining a grad chapter. So, my decision not to join a grad chapter was strictly a financial one. However, that does not keep me from attending events they sponsor or giving of my time when it is needed. Even if I can't join because of the cost, there is no reason why I can't do something in another capacity for AKA.

soror the problem may be lack of finances, or perhaps a personal situation that keeps sorors from committing the time needed in grad chapters (understandable, but not an excuse never to get back to work of course), however perhaps the most dominant reason is that some sorors have gotten their college day's glamour and really didn't have the heart to serve AKA in the first place, so why would they join grad and now have to work even harder for her with no crowds of admiring classmates giving them their props.
also the new phenomenon if it can be called new, some sorors had horrible sisterly relations in their undergrad chapters and find it difficult to believe that it will be different in grad and can not or will not continue to serve with women who have no idea what sisterhood really is. just a few possibilities.
