The Boule
Sorors,
Are any of you planning on attending the Boule this summer in Dallas? I have no plans to attend at this time, but would love to go one eventually. Has anyone ever attended before? I've only had the pleasure of attending regional and cluster meetings.

Soror,
Yes, I am planning to attend the Boule this summer. I am very excited because this will be my first one. I am also looking forward to my first regional meeting this April in my neck of the woods "The Big ATL."

Sorors,
I am planning to attend the Boule this summer. I am really looking forward to the meeting because this will be my first one. I was able to go to the Leadership Seminar in Orlando last summer. Soror Kat, have a great time at your regional conference. I will be attending my second conference in March with the "Sophisticated Ladies of the Southeastern Region" in Biloxi on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This will be my last conference as a undergraduate soror!!

Soror Kat,
I'm in the South Atlantic Region, too! Our regional conference was suppose to be here in South Carolina, but because of the NAACP boycott it was moved to Geogia. However, I love Atlanta! I'm currently a General Member and I'm planning on going to regional this year, too.

Hi sorors - ladies what's up? Soror AKAtude I am so glad that you posted about Boule. I plan on going. I can't wait - this will be my first one
I wish everyone that I have had conversation with on the internet could go. It's gonna be expensive and craZZZZZy HOT in Texas, but I can't wait. Who ever is going we should try and keep in contact and meet when we get there. It would be great to places faces with names and postings. Anyway, like I said BOULE is in my plans.... sorors let's talk about this, but we must remember to be careful what we post.

Hi Sorors,
I would love to attend Regionals in Atlanta but Spring Break is in March for us. I could not leave my students for that amount of time. I almost cried when I realized. However, I will be there for Boule.

Sorors (esp. those in the SIGNIFICANT South Atlantic),
Come on down and kick it with us in one of the original DIRTY SOUF cities. I'm sure that it's going to be a SKEENOMENAL conference. This is going to be my 3rd regional in a row (I missed 96 in J'ville and 97 in G'ville), but since it's going to be in my back door...I'm going to be there. I'm also going to participate in the Graduate Advisor training classes....b/c I think we need some younger sorors in advisory roles (ya heard?)
I also plan on making Boule too. I missed 96 and 98....and I SIMPLY can't miss this one. We are going to be on FIRE (literally I bet) in Dallas....can you imagine wearing pantyhose in that heat? ) Can you say linen and cotton the ENTIRE time?
Smooches!!

What is Boule? Or is that something you find out if you are accepted...

The Boule is our International Convention. It is held every 2 years.
For example, the GOP convention (every 4 years), the Democrats have their convention every four years.
