best greek event
greek life is full of events, no matter if its put on by ifc, npc, or nphc. my question is.....
1.what event impresses you the most.
2. what is the most fun.
3. what is the most "popular" event among the glos.
4. what event raises the most money?
greek life at my school is small but here it goes
1. all of them cuz they are all for a good cause
2. delta chis king's crown is sooo much fun. they just started it like 2 years ago and all the sororities love competing with each other(always in a lady like manner )
3. agds "battle of the gods" dzs "turtle tug" phi delt "PHI lanthropy" dchis "kings crown" and of course sigma chis "derby days"
4. this year derby days raised 9,000 dollars for the children miracle network this is great, cuz its the most money a glo on our campus ever have fundraised.

1) the events that impress me the most are the NPHC and MGC probates. seeing the new members finally crossing over is something thats always interesting to me (especially since i was one of them recently hehe)
2) definately, definately, definately greek week. getting to mingle with the other councils and meet new people is sooo much fun, not to mention participating in the events (whiffleball, lip sync contest, trivia night, among others). the greek week parties are always fun too
3) the most popular would probably be sigma chi fight night. they hold it at this club that used to be a wal-mart, and it's ALWAYS filled to capacity. people come from all around to see it..it's cool.
4) i'm not exactly sure about this one, but i think it's either the FIJI islander or the delta dunk fest. both were held at the same location, and when they had the events, the location was filled. they both made a great deal of money from the events.

1. What impresses me the most is how the whole greek system gets together and raises money for and particpates in Thon, our IFC/Panhel. Dance Marathon. The support that everyone shows for the dancers is amazing, because members of fraternities and sororities support their dancers for 48 hours straight, night and day. Also that fact that throughtout the year, we all go canning on the designated weekends, instead of partying, shows that there is more to a greek system than just parties.
2. The most fun thing is definitely Greek Week, it is a great combination of charity events and parties.
3. Greek Week is also the most "popular" event.
4. Thon raises the most money. We raised 3.6 million dollars for kids with cancer!

On my campus...
1.what event impresses you the most.
Oh wow...probably DU's Campustowne races b/c they have to build the boxcars for all the girls and it seems so incredibly time consuming, I've heard it's a blast though! Also Greek Week and Homecoming are HUGE, and RAMS is pretty huge too. I love RAMS, it's my favorite!!!
2. what is the most fun.
Dirty Delt ball! and SAE's haunted house are the most fun fraternity philanthropies. As far as in general Greek Week and Homecoming are always a blast and I always have a lot of fun meeting new Greek people when we do Special Olympics in the spring and of course RAMS!!!!
3. what is the most "popular" event among the glos.
For fraternities, Beta Theta Pi's 7 on 7 soccer tournament seems to have almost all the sororities participate, AKL has a lot of house participate and so does SAE
For sororities I know that ADPi's 8 ball, DG's Anchorsplash, Pi Phi's BMOC, Tri Delt's Triple Play, and GPhiB's Moonbowl have tons of fraternities sign up for them
In general for all of us Greek Week is awesome b/c we all pull together even though our greek system is so huge and we have a lot of fun and raise a lot of money
4. what event raises the most money?
Greek Week hands down
