Anybody have any great fundraising ideas? The Zeta chapter is going to start fundraising now so we can send a bunch of sisters to Lisle next October!!!

some ideas for fundraising.... we do a silent auction each fall...we send letters and call local businesses describing who we are, who and what sigma alpha is about and ask if and what they can donate...we can generate a couple hundred dollars depending on what we have to auction...weekly pizza sales, car washes (those bring in a little but its still something) bake sales we have tried before....steak wagons are great.... take a lot of work and planning, but are great to do...raffles too..

those are just some of the things chi chapter has done in the past and pretty much still do cause they seem to work really welll for us

it is a pretty cool fundraisers, takes a lot of planning but its worth it..we are actually in the beginning stages ourselves of planning one for next semester... good luck!

Hey ladies-
I wanted to bring this thread up again.

I'm challenging each chapter to send at least one representative to Convention this year. This is the only way your chapter has a voice in how the sorority operates on a National level- from approving the budgets and voting on bylaw changes to electing new members to serve on the National Board. We'll also be celebrating 25 years of sisterhood. It's bound to be a great time.

So mark your calendars, and start planning your trips.

It would be great to have all chapters represented, and maybe we can meet all the sisters with the cool nicknames from Greekchat.
