Post KA buttons

I need two Kappa Alpha buttons, one to wear to KA rush parties and one to put on my backpack. None of the greek stores I have been in have any KA buttons. If anyone can get them I would send money for them and for shipping. Please e-mail Katty@hotmail.com if you could get them. Thanks. Kat

The reason I need the buttons is because I am the current KA rose and I want to support the KA's in whatever way I can. If they had the buttons themselves, I could have as many as I needed. However, they have tried for the past year to get some at the stores around here and no one has them. We go to a small school and it would be pointless to order the amount required to get from a catalog.

Okay...so I know now why you want a KA button...it seems as if they could get them for you. Where do you go? It seems as if KA's really really really big in the South.

Just a sugguestion.

I'm not sure what is close in your area. But you might consider going to a craft store and purchasing the plastic button sleeves. They have about 1.5 inch diameter and you can either print up a design from your computer or do some hand art work. I don't think they're too expensive as my mother bought some for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Not only would you beable to customize to your liking the buttons but you could have different inserts for different events.

Another option is to check out printer supplies. Avery and HP (among others i'm sure) have sticker print sheets for your printers that work with an assortment of printshop programs. Do run a test print!!! I lost a sheet of stickers because i didn't. You might have to tinker with some of the margains.

I can think up a few more crafty ideas if you want. Either email me or ask me to post here.

Good Luck!

I go to school in Texas and the KA's are really big here, but the closest greek store to my school is an hour away. Whenever anyone asks them about the buttons they say they don't sell enough of them to order any more. Apparently they only sell buttons for the sororities there. When I first came to schoool here we had a greek store but it has since shut down. The KA's (and other frats) did but buttons for the girls then, but now there is no where to buy them...

Maybe the chapter should contact their national headquarters. I am sure that HQ offers recruitment materials and perhaps they even have buttons. I have seen tons used for colonizations. There may be a fee but I am sure that it would be cheaper than any Greek Store can offer.
