Badge "collecting"
I was very surprised in the last few months to discover that badge "collecting" seems to be so very popular. But then, as I inquired within my large group of greek alum friends, the scant care given to the badges they received 15-25 years ago surprised me also.
My husband has no idea where his ATO badge is. A friend had her KD pin made into a charm for a bracelet ... it fell off. My TriDelt friend lost hers in a house robbery and I bought the one on Ebay intending to give it to her. But she told me that she would rather have one with her own name. Can't say that I blame her.
It seems as though if loyal greeks each bought 2 or 3 badges and sent them home to nationals, we could put a dent in badge "collecting."
