Ms. Florida USA 2002

I don't know if anyone noticed in the latest issue of the Sphinx that Ms. Florida USA 2002 is a Phi Sig? From Delta Kappa. Maybe I'm a little late on that news but that was the first I heard/saw about it. I was way excited to see that since I am from Florida and love the Ms. USA/Ms. America type pagents. Of course it would take a beautiful Phi Sig to have such an honor as this. OK sorry...I just got a little excited about this.

don't feel bad, we got excited too, and we're from PA! i just read the sphinx, and our apartment is thinking of organizing a sisterhood to watch the pagent and cheer her on! i think this is just another great opportunity for phi sig's to come together on something positive!

Does anyone know when the pageant airs? Is she Miss Florida or Ms. Florida? What is her name (sorry! I don't get the Sphinx for some reason!)

I'm proud to say that Shannon Ford is from my chapter (Delta Kappa). She was named Miss Florida USA 2002. Damn proud to be a Phi Sig!

sorry ladies...just saw them call the top 12 (yes 12 not ten this year) and Florida did not make it....I swear they're biased against us redheads!!!

She placed 2nd runner up, won the spirit of competition award and received the viewers choice award.

She is Miss Fresno County 2003 and will run for Miss California June 2003.

Kristin is competing in Miss California right now.

Some sisters and I went and watched her last night. She looked sooooo beauitful!! Tonight is the final and they will crown the winner.

I wish Kristin the Best of Luck!! (She is the current Miss Fresno County for 2003)

Kristin didn't place in Miss California.

I haven't had a chance to talk to her (I just got home from Tahoe) so maybe I can get her to come on here (PrincessKBC is her gc name) and tell you all about it...

She deserves #1 in my eyes!!
