ok, this is so weird.....but just yesterday i was watching this thing on the wizard of oz and he was interviewed on it, and i thought, "how sad will i be when he passes away" (morbid kinda thought, yeah, but ya know). and then i just saw on the news that he
has passed away. the same thing happened when dave thomas passed away....i saw a wendy's commercial the night before and was like, "wonder what they will do when he passes away..."--next morning, he was gone.
buddy ebsen is probably most known for his portrayal of jed clampett on the beverly hillbillies, but he was also cast as the tin man before the role had to be re-cast since he was allergic to the make-up. he did several other movie and tv roles as well.
how sad.....
