Would you give your pet away for a million dollars?
No dollar amount could even tempt me. How about you?

No. Never. To me that's like asking if I would give a child away.
Now hubby... that's a different question all together! *lol* Just Kidding!

For a million dollars? Yes. I love him, but if he would have a good home, and I could then provide for my four children - Kaiser would get a new home.

This is clearly the worst thread in the history of the site.
Anyone who answers "No" and isn't already inordinately wealthy is an absolute moron.

I don't have a pet, but if I did...yes, I think I would trade for a million.

I don't have any pets right now. My parents had two birds for the longest...and yes I would've gave them away for a million dollars. They were too dumb to train, shat on my walls, and woke me up at 3 am chirping. They were only good as decorations.

In a heartbeat.
Sorry. I really like our pets, but a million is a lot of bucks.

Can I give them both away for a million each?
As long as I knew I wasn't selling them to their deaths, I'd do it.

I have had my cat since 9th grade, so it depends. If I knew nothing bad would happen to her and she'd be going to a good home, then yes I would. I couldn't trade her if I knew they were going to kill/harm her.

Sorry, but yes!
I had to give Toot a Poodle and Tigre a Pit Bull away when I moved and broke up with girl friend.
Hurt like hell, but for the Money, Yes, I still miss them!
Just could not keep them!

I'd give them away for a million, and buy them back.

I know this will sound bad but, even if I knew they were being put to death.....for $1M.....take em!!! ASAP
I love pets, but I am not one of those people who thinks of pets as children.

Call me a moron...
I couldn't do it with my cats. There are just somethings that are worth than money. The unconditional love that my kitties provide to me is beyond priceless. They are there to listen (and NOT judge or offer solutions) when I am crying and need to vent. They don't share my secrets so I can tell them EVERYTHING and know my secrets are safe with them. They purr and are cute when I need to smile. The perfect confidant! I couldn't do it...
Now MY dogs...THAT would be another story. Duke is old and while I love him, he can be such a royal pain in the ass. He is closing in on the end of his life and suffers from seizures . Mia, bless her poor little heart, is a German Shepard rescue from Hollenbeck. She is loving and gentle but timid and afraid of so much. She was obviously beaten severely before she found her home with us. She sneaks the trash, sneaks food and must be crated at night, or we wake to a disaster in the house. You raise your hand (or voice) and she literally flattens herself on the floor cowering. So disciplining her for transgressions is very difficult. So if I knew she wasn't going back to hell (she has been there before)...I could trade them both for $1M.
