Question Did You Learn Anything Today!

I contend, that if one does not learn something everyday to put a Rose on The Dressing Ward Robe, Then it is time to put Lillies on your Bossom!

What did you learn today?

I learn something new everyday. Usually several things. This is due to:

My studying physiology and nutrition
Interacting with people on a daily basis
Reading the American Journal of Nursing
Watching CNN and Fox News daily
My daily Bible devotional readings
Whatever non-fiction novel I happen to be reading at the time(Presently it's Sexual Politics by Kate Millet).

In my opinion, if one does not learn atleast one thing new each day in some way shape or form, you're quite a pathetic and rather limited individual.....just my opinion.

Today I learned that Chinese parsley = cilantro.

I didn't know until today. Almost all of us call it Chinese parsley here.

I was selling to this Indian couple (very cute). They kept asking me how many "cents" the diamond was. I was SO confused. Then I heard the woman ask her husband and he said it's 60 cents. Then I understood: 60 cents = .60 CARAT WEIGHT.

Bravo! I learned something new!

For Arya - (and I'm gonna butcher the spelling) Chin Chin Bagoose
