You answer my thread and I'll answer yours! LOL It is so lonely so I bumped it! Geez what a ?. I suppose its just a feeling. I don't know if I've said this before but I just totally clicked with the girls. (there's a longer story here but w/ my injured finger don't feel like typing it! lol) I felt like I could make DG better. Not that is was bad mind you but I just thought I could really make a contribution to my chapter. I think I did. Sometimes its not always what you do while you're there, its what you leave behind when you go...

I met DG as a collegian trying to colonize the DG. The DG executive officers were fantastic. Unfortunately, the colony flopped.
10 years later, I will confess that I discovered AI and wanted to AI. I did look at some other NPC groups, but I just could not forget my Delta Gamma! I kept thinking, "If I get initaited into _____ sorority, then I can never become a Delta Gamma" and I knew I would always regret it!
So I am proud to be a Delta Gee! Yippee!!

I never felt the urge to go Greek when I enrolled in NCSU...none of the girls that I talked to from other chapters really caught my eye. Plus, I grew up hearing about how much my mom loved DG and all of her stories...so I knew I'd probably never settle for anything but DG...but there was no chapter at my school...so I was patient and found other little nitches in the campus environment....that's when the announcement was made: DG WAS COMING TO NCSU!! I was thrilled! Fast forward 6 months and I'm a DG and my mom was the one to pin me at initiation!
When I was little I always said that I wanted to be just like my mom when I grew up! I'm well on my way!

I think I knew when the skit in round three was sooo hilarious, but everytime that I looked over at the girl beside me, she wasn't laughing as hard as me. There is something true about the statement, "It's not for everyone."

I was told before I even went to college by the guy I was dating (who was a TKE) that I would fit best in Delta Gamma or Alpha Gamma Delta. I met the women of DG over the first week of school and also knew two of them from HS. I wasn't even sure that I was going to go through with recruitment until the night of the forum. I knew I was a DG from the moment I met the women who I now call my sisters!!
