Question Sorors and Sisterfriends

Hello ladies!

I am a member of a GLO, but I like to check out the other forums to see other discussions. I was wondering if you could explain the difference between a "soror" and a "sisterfriend". I don't want to sound ignorant, but I just have no idea! And I understand if it's something you can't explain. I know that there are some things better left unsaid.

Thanks!

Cash78mere, I am quite sure that you are not the only one who has this question. I'm sure others are thanking you for asking. A soror is a lady who is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha or other group for that matter. A sisterfriend is one who isn't a member, but may be an aspiring member or one who is a friend of our beloved sisterhood. Hopefully, that answers your question.

Alpha Kappa Alpha a fellowship sincere and rare.

And one more point of clarification... the words Soror & Sisterfriend are not unique to Alpha Kappa Alpha, you can be a Soror or a Sisterfriend to any sorority
