Sen. Strom Thurmond

For those of you who don't check out Chit Chat, Sen. Strom Thurmond has passed away. Yahoo did a nice bio on him at http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp.../obit_thurmond

His seond wife, Nancy Moore, was an Alpha Delta Pi.


Ladies, I have tried unsuccessfully to delete this post. There is enough controversy concerning Sen. Thurmond in Chit Chat, and the last thing I wanted to do was to cause such a fuss.

If I've insulted a sister by posting this, I do hope that you can forgive my naivetee.

random: i was just watching cnn and al hunt's wife was an adpi with strom's second wife nancy...

anyways... honeychile i don't think you should apologize... strom thurmond was a prominent figure; an acknowledgment of his passing isn't something to apologize for, and there doesn't seem to be much of a reaction here...






p.s. to any reading this, don't take my post here as ANY type of indication either way of my opinion on the subject, i specifically would avoid posting about this all except for the *minor* tie to adpi and that random little info on al hunt's wife.
