ideas!!!

Hey Everyone,

I don't post on here very much but it was the first place I thought of to turn for ideas. I'm on my university's greek week committee and we want to get t-shirts for this year's event. The past few t-shirts we had were cute, but too girly for guys to wear. Our goal is for everyone to buy a t-shirt therefore we're looking for cute ideas that everyone will like. Guys, if you have any opinion or ideas for a t-shirt please let me know. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks,
Courtney

Yeah, second that. See if there's a theme and that'll help focus your thoughts.
Obviously you have sites like greek101.com which have a bunch of T-shirt designs which *might* give some inspiration. Er a bunch of other posts on GC in the past have suggested some options too (posters name in italics) cut and pasted a bunch here:

Betarulz!: Some Follow Trends, Greeks create Legends
Shark In Skirt: In life there are leaders and there are followers. Note that you're reading the back of my shirt.
also liked Delta Tau Delta's (this is so corny and cute): Brothers with Different Mothers.
ThetaGrrl: This year, the front says "One Love, Greek Life" and on the back there is a pic of Bob Marley and it says "Let's Get Together and We'll Feel Alright."
Hootie: ... my fiance has a cute t-shirt from a chi-o (SWT maybe?) and the theme on it was Hooters & Harleys. It wasn't for greek week but that shirt has always stood out in my mind as something neat! They even copied the Harley Davidson logo! It's really cute! If themed, could dress like biker babes? slogan "Chi-O's rule the road" or "Chi-O's: Queen of the open road"
or Chi-O Angels theme - slogan "Good girls go to heaven. Bad girls go somewhere else." (that was a Meatloaf song LOL)
ChiOqt: A cute little slogan for Hootie's suggested Chi-O angels would be something like "We're only angels 51 weeks out of the year!" We used that for our Greek Week shirts last year, it was really cute!
SilverTurtle and zsbradley: I have a friend who had a Greek Week t-shirt. They used the Sesamee Street sign, only it had the name of their "Greek" street, (or maybe it just said "Greek Street"? i don't remember!) and on the back "these are the people in your neighborhood" and had all of the chapters listed.

But agree with docetboy, work out if you're gonna do a theme.

These are all t-shirt ideas that were posted by other people and i looked them up on the search engine here. (id didnt mention any names so dont get mad please)

It was like a Toga Party theme, like "It's Not The Toga That Matters, But What's Underneath That Counts." "Wild Things Were Happening Under The Sheets at Homecoming 2001."

For Greek Week this year, we did a Monopoly theme. The slogan was "Get in the Game". and the back of the shirts were Monopoly Boards with the GLO as the more expensive properties, and then other buildings around our campus filled in the rest of the Board

GOOD LUCK!

SLAM !

I found some new cute ones.

I am in charge of organizing Greek Week at my school. I have been looking for slogans and cool tshirt designs. Our slogans for the past few years have been:
"The week Zeus got loose"
"No matter the letter, Greeks do it better"
"It's not about the toga; it is what is underneath that counts"

In the beginning, there was GOD. . .
And then, He made Greeks. . .

"FIU Greeks: Heaven didn't want us, and Hell couldn't handle us!"

When we're good, we're good. When we're greek, we're better.

In greatness there is perfection. And greatness is perfected here.

Not Four Years, For Life

Our greek week shirts this year have a Trading Spaces theme (like the TLC TV show). It has all the colored blocks that TLC uses with our letters, and on the back it says something like, "7 days, 4 sororities, 20 events, 1 champion."

My Big Phat Greek Week...Wear your letters, or nothing at all!

I'm the Greek Week director at my campus and we offered a tee shirt/theme contest. We got a ton of great/origional ideas then I had the committee take a vote. PM me if you want some more info, I'd be glad to explain more in detail. But that worked really great for getting new ideas that a lot of people like. As much as Greek101 is a good source-having someone design it for points/prize etc really gets their brains thinking!
