Hello Friends, Checking in with you to say Thanks so much for all that you've done and are doing. I appreciate this more than you know. Your loyalty, leaves me at a lost for words. I am so grateful, for you all. I received the wonderful basket of goodies and the beautiful flowers. Thank you for the gifts, the cards and for celebrating my 24th with me. Maybe not physically, but spiritually we were all partying 2gether. I am in jolly ol' England at the moment writing and recording songs for the album. Which I must say, (this may be a bit disappointing to some), will not be out until next year, to answer the main question I have read on the boards. Please, do not be upset but know that this is only because I want to make sure that I am doing all that I can. I am very excited about the album and I think Ieesha has given a pretty good description of some of the things that have been going on. I am loving the whole process of recording and being cre8tive, writing with different producers and songwriters. I can't wait for you all to share in the joy that this process has brought me and can only pray that you enjoy it as much listening as I do recording. It's so funny, how, officially, 1 year ago I was on AI. Can you believe it? So much as taken place in such a short period of time, and the one thing that we all are waiting on (the album) is right around the corner, kinda. But, if you look at it in terms of: I have been pursuing this dream of mine for 11 years; a little longer doesn't seem as bad, does it? That's one thing I've discovered in this whole process of dreaming................ Patience and being anxious for nothing. Sometimes, it takes a little longer than one anticipated but, the payoff in return is the happiness acquired from the wait. I can and will say that this album will be a reflection of my soul and life experiences. Sharing with you, my happiness, my love, my sadness, my madness, my craziness, and all those emotions one endures. Which I'm sure, is what most artists' albums are, this being my 1st and my not knowing what most artist do, I'm guesstimating (is that a word?) but I hope it will be something that you will put in your CD player and not want to skip any songs but are able to groove to every track. I can't wait for you to hear it. I'm so excited...... I think Lam, that's what u said, and the Pointer Sisters couldn't have made a better song because that has been my phrase and motto. Expressing my excitement. I feel like a 5 year old on X-mas morning waiting to open her gifts. Remember the birthdance..............I must be doing it at least once a day. I am on cloud 9. And I can't find enough descriptive words to express myself, so all I have is my silliness. It works for me. Sometimes words get in the way. I can's wait to get your feedback. Both the positive and the negatives. What you like and don't like about the album. Maybe, I could have a listening party somewhere and invite some of you to come out and jam with me or all. No promises, of course. But it would be something I'd love to do for you, in order to show my appreciation. You really are wonderful. I am both speechless and amazed by you. I love you more than words for your support. The rallying, the writing, the voting. WOW. I could go on and on. Periodically, I do check the boards to see what's going on in my life. I find out alot of things through the boards, that have yet to reach my ears, and I find it so hilarious. Do you know, you find out things b4 I do? And I could be reading, and all of sudden I'm like "really, a nomination". That's how I found out about both the magazine and Teen Choice, and I think it's great! Keep filling me in. I don't know what to say or do that could show my appreciation for you. But believe me and you my heart is indebted to you. Sorry, for rambling but, you know when you have a good friend you haven't spoken in awhile, and there's alot to fill them in on? Well, that's you and me. Now that I've talked your head off, I will close. Until next time, please have patience with me and know that nothing is deliberate but is all a process. Hopefully, by the next entry I will have a date of release for you and can give you the update b4 anyone else. That's my plan, because you deserve it more. But, I will promise that you won't have to wait 2 much longer 4 anything is released. and it won't be an end of the year release. No Worries.
