Anyone seen the film "Old School" ?

... Haven't seen this mentioned on here before...

"Old School". Okay, I know saying it was true to fraternity life would be like saying Beavis and Butthead Do America was a serious documentary . But as a spoof, it was very funny. I saw it yesterday and if I wante highbrow or high art I'd go nowhere near it but for subversive humor it was quite good. Anyone agree?

I laughed hysterically, I admit it. They are making a sequel to it, and I will probably see it as well.

loved it too!

I love ALMOST everything with Will Farrell. He is a comedic genius. Favorite part has to be when he is running naked down the road like everything is cool.

I saw it with my mom (who had seen it before) and we both laughed our butts off. It was very funny... and Luke Wilson? YUM. All of the movies I really want to see this summer (Legally Blonde 2, Charlies Angels 2 and Alex & Emma- a few more, too) all coincidentally co-star Luke Wilson. Triple YUM.

I think Will is a Delt. Hope he's not acting from experience.

Yup! Will Ferrell was a Delt at USC! For some reason, I thought he was a TKE, but I just checked and it lists him as a DTD. They just started up again at SC last year, I do believe. Not sure how long they were off campus for.... but anyway, go Trojans!

Yep, saw that one in theaters! Luke is definitely HOT. I told him that, too. I went to the LA premiere of The Royal Tenenbaums last year with a friend. I had told her how much I adore Luke and she thought I was crazy and that he wasn't attractive AT ALL. He was brilliant in the movie and afterwards, we found him up against the wall of the theater lobby chatting. Among all of the A-List celebrities there (Gwyneth, Ben Stiller and family, Danny Glover, Alec Baldwin, Anjelica Huston, Kelsey Grammer and on and on), I only HAD to meet Luke! So my friend saw him against the wall and I didn't care, I had to go talk to him!

So I introduced myself, told him how fabulous I thought he was, how amazing he was in The Royal Tenenbaums and how gorgeous I thought he was! Totally embarassing, but he was SO gracious! "Ohmigosh, that is SO sweet of you! I really appreciate it! Awww... thanks! It was nice to meet you!" Made my night.

And my friend turned to me afterwards and said "Okay, I take it back. He's HOT in person!"

So yes... I'm a HUGE Luke fan!

Yeah, actually I knew he was. There was an article about him in our fraternity magazing a couple years ago.

I'm not sure when that chapter was closed, but they just recolonized within the past two or three years and were just rechartered, I think.

Same with UCLA.
