Jayson Blair-NY Times

This young man who wrote things for the NY Times, being "The Most Important News Print in the world" (?) Has brought down Two of the Major Editors of the Paper.

What is sad, so many people raised the Color Card.

His excuse was that he was under preasure to produce, was using drugs, and just to young for it all!

Does anyone know what School He Graduated from, he must have he worked for the times!

To me, he is a skater, skates as by as much stuff as he can get away with and has a Tub full of excusses!

It wasn't just Jason Blair that "brought down" two of the NYT editors. According to other writers have come forward and spoke out about the NY Times writing practices, this type of "reporting" happens a lot, especially at the request of the editors in question.

Aparently, there was more going on than what people first thought.

I have somewhat kept up with the story. It's a shame that the New York Times' Creditibility has went down since the Incident begins. I really don't think it's a Race / affirmative Action that should be Blame for the demise of Jayson Blair as well as the Others. To me, It's just a case of someone who can't perform the duties the Times' expected from their staff/personels. If you can't work with the guidelines that was given to you, you shouldn't be there in the first place. They need to have better guidelines so this wouldn't happen again.

Tom,
Jayson Blair didn't graduate from college. He dropped out of the University of Maryland without receiving a degree.
