Post What's up with the acronyms Sorors and SFs???

Hello Sorors and SFs:

Can someone do me a small favor, can I get a list (perhaps on personal e-mail) of all the acronyms and their meanings. I may be an idiot but it took me like 3 months to figure out what LOL meant. LMAO took me like two. Now I see things like UTORNMEBDKRTOYMGNMDHEO. I am like OKAY, what could that POSSIBLY mean. I mean I could type an entire post in acronyms.

Please help a Soror out here. I am old now so...ya know.

Hello Deltabrat,
I know what you mean when it comes to those acronyms . I always find myself sitting here trying to figure them out . One (and notice I said One )that I am familiar with (thanks to Salience ) is ROFL/ROTFL is "Rolling on (the) floor laughing".
Hope this helps, and I will keep checking this thread with hopes of learning more of these acronyms.
Have a good day & God Bless!

DeltaBrat et al...

I used to teach an internet class for seniors and this was one of the questions asked most. I found this link and it's got almost every acronym you can think of! I hope it helps.

Thanks everyone. It's good to know I am not the only one scrathing her head thinking "Huh?" when she sees these acronyms.

Thanks Zeta Ace for the address...I hope it helps.

Are most of the acronyms for "laughing" type slogans....it seems that way. CTFU is too much for me, though.

Or can there be like CMEO Crying My Eyes Out.

Ya know?

Maybe I can make up my own and confuse everyone

PEACE Sorors and SFs (Oh yeah Sfs took me like three weeks)

Question

I thought that LOL was laughing out loud

and what in the world is GDI? I was in my friends room while she was looking at the Zeta forum on here and kept seeing it. I'm puzzled. I know it has something to do with being interested but that where I lose it.

Just when I got used to the "regular" acronyms, now there's a new crop of 'em.

Yeah, lol is one thing.

I could even stand ROTFLMAO!

But dang!

Now it's like ROFLEODHAJDHASEHDIKHWMKSA

I'm like huh?

What's the website again where I can get help?!
