LTS / Convention 2004
Not sure if there's a thread about this already, but if not - thought I'd start one!!
It's in Washington D.C. - my semi hometown. I'm definetly going!!
I am really looking forward to Supreme Council elections as well. I can post the nominees, if you girls are interested.
Who else is going?!

FYI - Supreme Council Candidates
I have the official packet, with resumes, goals, experience, etc. for each candidate. If you'd like a copy, PM me, I'll be happy to email!

Count me in! I'll be there on Wednesday night, I believe. LTS was awesome last year, and this time I won't be a collegian, so I look forward what lies ahead. I am too excited already!

I'm hoping to go. Just waiting for our chapter to get the official packet in to find out how much it is going to cost.

I'll be there! YAY! It's my first Convention...or anything related. I'm excited and yet scared all at the same time. Just nervous I'll make an ass of my Chapter. LOL!

Last year, when I went for my chapter, I was dreading it but what a FANTASTIC experience! You won't regret it! I get to meet the chapters that I deal with. I can't wait to meet these girls! They are a name without a face at the moment. I will also get to meet the other RFC's that I talk to. This should be an exciting time!

I really want to go too! I went to LTS last year and had a blast.
This year I might be able to go to for free again!! (depending on who gets to be delegation this year. you know: this many in your chapter you send this person and so on... well i'm vice --as of april 22 no more Archon--, and hopefully we will have enough actives to send me too!!)
With all these people wanting/going to Convention, we are going to have to plan a GC lunch date or something!

Hoping...
I hope I am able to go to Nationals this year as well. It won't be a free trip for me, but my hometown in Maryland isn't far from DC. Unfortunately, I need to see what my class schedule is going to be for the summer...Ugh!

I just got the official packet at home. They're are going to do online registration for this one. It will start on the 19th if I remember correctly.
What I think is cool is this time they are offering the option of taking a night tour of DC. It will cost $30 but I did it two years ago on my own with gray line tours and it was something like $40 to do. It's an awesome tour and for everyone going I strongly encourage that they book the tour too. I know I'm going to do it because it's going to take us by the new WWII memorial.
I can't wait to go to Convention. I'll be going Alum at the end of May and I'm planning to volunteer. Maybe by convention I'll have a volunteer spot.
See everyone there. This time we definitely need to do a greekchat meet up. It was fun meeting Jen and Heather there last year.

The convention is July 28 - August 1. West Coast delegates actually arrive on the 27th.
This will be my first year going as an Alum. I'm going to try to go out a couple of days early so I can play tourist again. I did it two years ago when i flew out early to visit my brother in Virginia and then he drove me in on the Tuesday before convention. Had a full day and a half to play tourist and DC and enjoyed it a lot.
Let's start planning on a greekchat meet up.

I just got the packet today....
when i first opened it, i was thinkin, $380 for the weekend that's not bad.
But no, no matter how much I want to go I cannot! I must not! It would get me big in debt doo doo, like last year, from which I'm still trying to crawl out.
So whatever I say, don't let me go!
