What is it you like about us?

Ok, there's been a lil bit of tension around here as of late, and it's easy to overlook the fact that a lot of us have made some pretty good friends on GC.

So now, quick-
Name someone and something you like about them. It can be simple like- He's hilarious, or deeper like "She helped me get through a rough time."

Even better if it's not a thisclose friend of yours.

I just thought it would be cool, b/c a lot of times when we're feeling down on ourselves (another thing running rampant around here lately) it blows your mind to hear someone say something good about you.

There honestly are so many people on here that I really, really like! Right off the top of my head, though, someone that comes to mind is:

LibraSoul - She's completely liberal and I'm a staunch conservative, but I love her sense of humor as well as her fashion sense

(yea! Prairie skirts are back in oblivian where they belong!) Sometimes I agree with her, sometimes I don't, but she always has something worthwhile and interesting to say

roxydiva -- because she constantly reminds me of what it feels like to be SO in love with AXO!! Kinda like the feeling you get when you first start dating

I do love AXO anyway, but she has such a great spirit and its so cute to "hear" her talk about her life as a sister

carnation - she keeps me grounded

DeltAlum - he is just so great!! He knows a lot about a lot, and he always seems to keep a level head!

Everyone on here who loves Clay and will be attending our wedding at some point in the future

AlphaGamDiva- Monica- What can I say!! You are my GC twin through and through...we have the same job, we LOVE India Arie!! we like the same kinda guys

and we vibe like no other! I haven't met many people on the internet that I can call a true friend...and you are one of those exceptions. You're funny, smart, caring, and ghetto as hell...like me!! I love how you know EXACTLY what I'm thinking and I think its funny when were talking and we say the same thing at the same EXACT time...TWIN!! even though you are Republican...I hope that we can be friends in "real life" It seems the more we talk, the more we find it common!! Bwahahahah! Can't wait til ATL!!

Damasa- Blaine- You're hilarious, intelligent, honest, so damn random...(like me) and I am blessed to call you my friend. Sometime, JUST sometimes....I admit, I know you're right and it puts the biggest smile on my face, cause I know that you know you're right...arg. Can't argue with you DAMMIT!!

I don't think many guys call me on my shit like you do, and it makes me go INSANE but I also feel humbled. Thanks Blaine, its appreciated. Believe me.

zntke711- Brandon- You are like my big brother...always giving me advice (even though half the time I don't follow them..hehe), encouraging me, and making me look at the bigger picture. You're very cool to talk to and I'm glad we are friends!

BSUPhiSig'92: One of the only other Phi Sigs to post on here. Always a welcome voice of reason and teaching for brothers. Has always given me good advice and someone I can turn to with internal Phi Sig matters.

33Girl: Sheila has always given me sound advice on stuff and is a voice of reason when pointing out it has been worse at Clarion.

Tom Earp: Although it's hard to decipher what he is talking about at times I enjoy his posts and he is well grounded at times.

Cream: Has always had the patience to explain stuff to me calmly even if I have been more than close minded and rude about how I state things.

zntke711: helped me realize TKE isn't bad, they just have some bad apples like all of us.

For example- Cream I think you're really real and sweet. It is hard to see through ppl's shit on the internet and your personality shines through.

Rudey's posts are usually right on the $$$ IMHO and always make me laugh.

I think GeekyPenguin and KappaKittyCat are awesome. They're so friendly -- KKC was really welcoming when I first started posting here -- and represent their organizations really well. And Wisconsin sorority girls have to stick together!

I think valkyrie and Munchkin03 are both really smart, have some really good ideas, and are just overall very cool.

I think FAB Spicey Spice is really sweet and so full of spirit -- plus she loves Lilo & Stitch!

I think AXJules is hilarious.

I think Tom Earp is hilarious, too.

I think 33girl is cool because she's not afraid to call things like she sees them, and we need that around here sometimes.

I think CutiePie2000 and GPhiBLtColonel are so sweet for doing so much research on alum initiation and helping women to be alum initiated into sororities.

I think OohTeenyWahine would be so much fun to go out and party with.

I think justamom, carnation, and all the rest of the wise women that frequent the Rush forum and give out great advice are an awesome help to all the PNMs that are going through (I was one, last year!). Who knows where we'd all be without their advice?

Thank you guys for the sweet words. I HONESTLY couldn't create a list, because EVERYONE would be on it. Far, far easier to say who I DON'T like, but THEY ARE ALL GONE!!!

I love my sisters, I love my GC friends.
Funny-smart-challenging-off the wall-insightful-supportive-informative...ALL these are within the GC community and each and every one of you guys have exhibited these qualities on numerous occasions.

No really. I duno. The only people I really think about on here are they ones I actually talk to outside of GC... like my Lj girls. Sandy's got this life that one day I'm gona steal and make my own, and the other's I just love reading about their lives and wish that mine was nearly as exciting!
