Motivation

I wanted to start next year off with something motivational, but I don't know what. For instance, 2 years ago, when I was recruitment chair and we were having problems recruiting I bought those carabeaner (sp?) key chains for everyone. I linked them all together and said that we were all part of a chain and if people don't work together the chain is going to break, everyone is an integral part of the chain, blah blah blah and then I passed them out so everyone had one and would always be reminded that they are an important link to the chain. I was thinking about doing that again because there aren't many people still in from when I did that. But I was wondering if anyone had any new ideas. I like things that have something tangible to go with it because I think that helps to keep people motivated and it makes more of an impact.

That seems more of a team building event than a plain motivator. Nothing wrong with it.

You might want to try a variation of the same theme. Prep a social event the sistes will love and before the event have a few team building excercises etc . ..

OR have a social event prior to some team building. The social event builds morale, te team building focuses everyone.

Stress living ritual, not living The Ritual. The Ritual is just the ceremony and secrets. But living ritual, or living the values in everyday life may help. If girls can see what values your sorority holds they don't need to ask and are more likely to be drawn in and want to join.
