I hope you saw it on VH1 and didn't actually rent it. The all-naked version is somewhat better...
Those bimbos from Coyote Ugly hazed me.

Saw it on DVD and I tell u what, even if the entire cast was naked all the time, the movie sucked even more then porn. Talk about overacting.

I actually liked this movie....EXCEPT for the rape scene....Too brutal..
I liked making fun of the cheesy sex scenes...
What with the writhing, grinding scene in the pool?!?!?

I didn't see the movie, but Hollywood loves to haze the willing.

Okay, I will defend it. Is good movie, not really, no. But...give her a break the only thing she'd ever done before that was Saved By the Bell. The episode where her character (Jesse) got hooked on diet pills was the closest thing to dramatic situations she was involved with in an acting context.
I will always defend my very first ever crush.

Curses on you! I have "Hot Sundae's" screechy, tuneless rendition of "I'm So Excited" bouncing around in my head now. Are you happy???

Showgirls... My younger brother and myself once suffered the indignity of watching it first-run (the unrated version) in the theaters one time I was visiting him in Las Vegas.
Yes, the movie sucketh mightily and stinketh... I even caught SEVERAL glaring continuity errors in the film, one particular one being the background changing from Fremont Street one scene, and flipping over to the Strip the next. (Downtown and the Strip are actually separated by about four miles -- and traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard doesn't exactly travel at light speed!)
And yes, I was shocked and disgusted over the needlessly gratuitous, overly violent and blatantly graphic rape scene.
BTW, if you do feel like renting the DVD (it ain't worth buying), the DVD has some pretty good 'easter eggs' in 'em:
On the main menu, instead of choosing Play Movie, etc., Use the directional buttons on your remote. Push the up button until one of the letters in the word "Showgirls" is highlighted. Press "OK" and hear a "classic" Line from the movie. Do this with each letter and enjoy!!! ( http://www.eeggs.com/tree/1980.html)

Ok... the movie kinda sucked. However I did see Elizabeth Berkley in a made for TV Lifetime movie about a student coming onto a teacher (her) and she was actually really good.
