Thumbs down Bad Greek Shopping Experience

For those of you who EBay and shop for Greek wear, here's an experience I wanted to share!
I purchased a letter shirt on EBay and once I received it, I was kind of disappointed. The sizing was not accurate, the material was pretty flimsy and the letters weren't centered. I wasn't totally pissed because that's the chance you take on EBay. It was shipped promptly, so that was a plus. So I left NEUTRAL feedback. I gave my plus and my minus and wasn't rude about it.
Well, I received a VERY rude email from the seller. They cussed me out, called me names, threatened me, etc. I wrote them back and said it was neutral, not negative and I didn't appreciate the hostile response. They wrote me back several times with increased hostility. They said they hated dealing with "spoiled Greek brats" every day, etc etc. Ok, then why do you center your business around us?
I was pretty shocked and will never buy anything from this person again!! I wanted to pass along the name and just give a little "beware" to you all. If you do happen to purchase something and aren't happy with it, for God's sake don't say anything!
The EBay seller is missy_29 and her company is Gecco Graphics

Did you contact her about the problem before leaving the feedback?

If there's a problem, you should always attempt to contact a seller before leaving feedback. Many would give you a refund, etc. Speaking as a seller, it is VERY aggravating to receive a neutral or negative feedback if you hadn't ever heard about a problem.

I checked out the seller- she sure has some shitty feedback! Only a 97.3 positive feedback rating.

There's no excuse however for her response.
Report her to ebay! Please! Other people may have already reported her and she could get kicked off.

Also, you could report her to the individual GLO's that she's selling things for and greeklicensing.com - she's not licensed to be producing things with GLO names on them. Greeklicensing.com will definately go after them! They have given me a hard time for selling things that were purchased through one of their licensed vendors! They were fine once I told them who I bought them from though.

I definately agree w/ kddani!

If there is something wrong with what you recieved on ebay, it's always good to contact the seller first. If they don't try to help the situation, or don't ever respond within a reasonable time, then leave appropriate feedback and if the problem is really bad, contact ebay.

I emailed the seller once I received the item and expressed my concerns and she (I'm assuming she because of the seller ID) did not respond. Like I said, I wasn't too upset because it's an EBay risk, so I just left the neutral feedback and left it at that. When she did respond to the feedback, she said she could have refunded it or exchanged it, but my question was why didn't she suggest that when I first emailed her?
However, even I had not done that or even if I had left negative feedback, that was a very unnecessary response!

I did try to report it to EBay, but I was confused about who to report it to. I was told by one person on EBay that unless she contacted me through their mailing system (as opposed to emailing me directly), they couldn't do anything about it.

Any suggestions?

Also - thanks kddani for your suggestions about contacting greeklicensing.com and the GLO's!

Did you contact eBay? Her harassing e-mails are uncalled for!

Well, I couldn't really find the category I fit under. While she was threatening, it wasn't that she was threatening my life or bodily harm. It wasn't fradulent. There was hateful language used, but it wasn't in a listing or a discussion board. I feel like there isn't really an avenue to report it. If anyone knows any different, feel free to speak up!! I've never had to complain to EBay about anyone before, so I'm kind of confused about what to do.

That's too bad sweetie! I would be pissed off too if a seller B#tched me out for their lack of good business tactics. If I were you I'd report this person to their respective Internet service if they didn't contact you through EBAY email.
