I absolutely love their music!! It's just so clean sounding, can't really explain it. The guitar doesn't drown our the lyrics.

Schmeer, is it coincidence that "Iris" is your favorite song of the Goo Goo Dolls?

It's so funny that you started this thread, Scheemer. I love the goo goo dolls and am destined to marry Johnny Rezeznik.
I think Iris has to be one of my favorite songs by them and gutterflower is awesome, though I like their first album better...
Anyways, Johnny R is auctioning off that superhot jacket he wore during the Superbowl in eBay. All of the band members autographed it an all....hmmm.... you guys should check it out:

$1375 holy crap!
I wish I had that kind of money to burn on an autographed jacket. That is really sweet. I wonder if it'll end up in a hard rock cafe somehwere?
Does Buffalo, NY have a Hard Rock Cafe?

man that jacket is sweet... that thing would look a lot better on my wall then in some hard rock... i wonder if i could get a student loan to get that and then right it off as some sort of tax deduction..... or maybe just a grant for charity work...

There was a time that Goo Goo Dolls was the "best band you;'ve never heard of" but that was in the "A Boy named goo" days...since then they ahave turned into lamer versions of the Gin Blossoms, singing very sappy, un creative songs. After that "City of Angles" song they turned in to one of the sappiest bands in the world...and I now refused to listen to any of theri music after "A Boy named goo".

"Iris" is my and my boyfriend's song. We saw GGD open up for BonJovi a couple of months ago, and they were great! It was so cool seeing them play our song live and in person.
