I just had a random recollection.......
On the weekend of my 20th birthday (which was in October btw) one of my chapter sisters and her boyfriend came to my hometown to visit me. We went to dinner with my parents and afterwards, as we waited to find a happening night spot to party at, we decided to go to a carnival that was in town. Now, when we got there, my chapter sister began to play those machines where you put in a token and the little levers push the coins forward. Well, she became a little addicted and kept asking her boyfriend for more money to get more tokens. Well, $15 - $20 and 15 minutes later, her boyfriend said, "NO MORE!" We three looked at all of the prizes she could get with the coins she had won. We see a whole bunch of little, ceramic bear figurines holding a signs that say different things. I saw them and told my chapter sister she should get one. (The rest of the prizes were a little funky if you ask me) Anywho, next thing I know, my chapter sister is calling the attendant over telling him that she had chosen what she wanted. I knew it had to be one of the bears b/c that was the only cute thing they had there. Well, she turns to me and hands me the bear she had chosen and said, "Happy birthday!" The bear was holding a sign that said happy birthday!!
Okay, sorry. That was my random middle of the night, I am bored and not sleepy, recollection. I miss my chapter sisters!!
