Check out www.metromix.com - I couldn't plan my weekends without it!

I'll be in Chicago over Memorial Day weekend - so let me know what to do.
Things planned already from previous excursions:
Bubba Gump's at Navy Pier
Hard Rock Cafe
Wrigley Cub's game (not this time, though)
Million dollar mile shopping (my wife's idea - goodbye wallet)
What else is there to do?

I prefer NY pizza... but anyway, I recommend Gioradano's for Chicago-style.
The Mag. Mile is amazing...
Also, it seems to me like everyone in Chicago is always going out for tapas, am I right? Cafe Iberico is good if you want to go there.
Oh, and you have to go to the Sears tower or the John Hancock observatory deck.

Haha - I just went out for tapas last night! I've never been, but I hear Cafe Iberico is great. Cafe Ba-ba-ree-ba and Twist (in Wrigleyville) are good, too.

OK, OK. MAGNIFICENT MILE. Sorry - not a Chicago native, obviously!
Chicago style pizza - had Pizzeria Uno's last time - a medium pizza more than fed four of us - yum!

i know we plan on clubbing
the reason we're escaping to chicago is
because we both miss the latin culture
we're suffering from their absence
we have a little here but not a lot
(yeah, it's lexee and lucas from down the block)
so, we're coming to immerse ourselves there

DisneyQuest is looooong gone - it's just an empty building now (sitting on prime real estate, I might add).

I have friends in Chicago - we're planning to visit them over the 4th of July weekend. We went to Taste of Chicago on the 4th a couple of years ago. HUUUUGE mistake... it got extremely crowded, and a fight broke out not 10 feet away from me (nobody, including the police, tried to break it up, and people were actually videotaping it ). Normally, crowds don't bother me, but I freaked, and we decided to watch the fireworks on TV instead! If we go to Taste this year, it won't be on the 4th
Visit the Museum of Science. There's one day a week that it's free. Go on a different day - it's worth a few bucks to not have to deal with the crowds.
Keep the ideas coming, I'm looking for them too

Girodano's Pizza is the best! Check the phone book, there are several in the city.
Also, get your hands on a Pot Belly sandwich
