Money - if you're graduating college, you're probably going to need some. Same goes for high school - if you're going to college, need some of that spending money.

What do you tihink?

What do ya'll think of this as a graduation present for my boyfriend? We've been together almost 5 years. I wanted to get him something special and personalized. Somehow a Playstation game didn't seem right for college graduation.

Lemmie know what you think

Hell, I don't even know what to ask for for graduation, let alone a gift for someone else. Depending on his taste and future plans, I would say a nice briefcase.

angelic1: does your boyfriend wear any jewelry, if he does, i know my friend's bf loved the watch and necklace she got him. If he's a big car dude, you can always get him something that he's been talking about for a while but never got...just a few suggestions....

juniorgirl-
I don't know how much you want to spend, but here are some ideas...
-a watch
-palm pilot (for all those buinessmen)
-clothes (anything he really needs?? Maybe something he wouldn't get himself, or something he will need for his job?)
-I like the car stuff idea
-breifcase
-cuflinks
-a trip (esp if you are staying together and he is living far away)
- a engraved silver frame with a picture of him or you, or his diploma (I know my bookstore sells fancy diploma frames with the school's seal on it).
- money, like a savings bond or soemthing he can't use now (wierd since you are his girlfriend but cool if you plan on spending the rest of your life together.. it will end up yours again he he)

you could try a dual gift- like cufflinks and a weekend getaway, or a watch and a nice cozy dinner. Pair up something he will have for a while with a good memory.
That's all I can think of!!!! The best thing is to try and pay attention to what he needs now, or ask what his parents are getting him.

Hehe...that was last year that I needed advice! I ended up getting him the Tiffany screwball keychain with the round tag - it matches my round tag bracelet

And, in case you didn't see my thread a few weeks ago, we're now engaged
