Question Sons of the Dragon??

I'm up here at the University of South Dakota helping the SNu chapter go through rush and i've noticed that on the Beta chapter's posters and on the sign in front of their house they have the slogan "Sons of the Dragon".

The 6 years at A&M i NEVER heard the chapter down there refer to themselves this way and i was just wondering if it's a national thing or something the USD chapter decided to pull out on it's own.

Understandably, if it's ritual-related, all y'all have to say is, yes, we consider ourselves Sons of the Dragon and it relates to ritual and i'll thank y'all for the answer. But since i had never heard it before i was just wondering if all Beta chapters claim that.

The term "Sons of the Dragon" is a national thing, few chapters use it though - as catchy as it is. Our pledge manual is called "Son of the Stars", as an active you are a "Son of the Dragon". The mystic dragon, as you can see on our crest, is our symbol. Its all linked together, somehow.

How is rush going over there? How about the Betas, got any inside scoop? What are the chapter sizes there?

We are sons of the Dragon, and forever more, we are sons in Beta Theta Pi

We had it on our rush shirts last year...

Definitely something that could be utilized more...
