Is there a copy online or will I have to pay a visit to the chapter?

Most of it sounds good. I didn't realize we could charter 2 year colleges. I doubt they approved and colonies for those schools anyways.
I don't agree with the assesment bylaw. Up to 50% of your membership fee? I know IHQ would like the extra money but if I was still an undergrad I wouldn't be happy. Not like when your in college your made of money.

we have a local 2 year college near us that some of our members go to because they cant afford or dont think the unversity is for them but still want to be active members and if that passes it cuts their ability to be active members of the fraternity, but I personally am for the amendment change we have too many chapters that closed because we put them on campuses that cant handle it

I don't think it will affect them becoming members, just won't let them start their own chapter at that school.

the part with the Histor... that might be a bit too much for alot of chapters... right now alot of chapters the histor doesn't have to do a whole lot, and alot of chapters the histor doesn't do much. putting him in charge of keeping track of all the alumni's
addresses and the such? that's quite alot...
i'm not a big fan of The Teke not being at least 4 times a year... i mean hell, that's what kept interest in the wars, and when most chapters get em, they're all over em... i'd rather that be added to the chapter level of at least 2 or 4 alumni newsletters a year...
it is nice to see the black book up to times with email included though....
and where's the part about the rush chairmen being an officer? I know it would be VERY expensive to change everything, but like alot of people say, he IS that important and it is a year round position, well if done right, it is a year round position.

I like the exchange rate part, it means we don't have to petition the Grand Chapter to havd the rate changed, just the Grand Council (amendment #22). The rate is a big deal right now up here, we get 1:1.3, as opposed to most internationals which get 1:1.
One note: if we are gonna talk about parts of legislation can we all include the amendment #'s, so it is easier to every body to reference.
