We Stroll

TIRAMASU,

All of our chapters stroll. A couple have step teams. I'm sure you can do a search on stepping and strolling to get more info. I'll PM you!

thanks
we have some videos of a competition that was on bet and some other movies. and our vp used to step before a little so i think we'll be able to come up with something. i really think it would be cool because no other Sororities or Fraternitys do this on our campus.

It's a challenge

Well i wish you all the luck and finding ways to become true steppers, it's alot of work and time put into doing a perfectly good routine. I have been stepping sense i was 12 years of age with my church and now with my own fraternity, speaking that i'm a founding father of the fraternity. So u do your best and get help from those who are willing to help u out. Good luck and remember

" Those who can step, step. Those who can not step aside."

heya
We did a step show for our Greek Week two years ago...???...We had a non-sister who was amazing come in and teach us. She was great! (yea, even the girls from WI learned...) She put something together for us that allowed the girls who weren't great to participate without taking away from the quality. Everyone did it and we bonded a lot. Few tears of frustration but overall it was a blast. We did so well that the guys who were gonna step decided not to! Good Luck! Hope this helps a little!

Lightbulb idea

Hey everyone,

I'm a founding member of a local sorority and I used to be on the street dance team in my High School. I'm interested in putting a routine together for my sisters to perform that incorporates street dance along with stepping. Does anyone know of any good websites where I can get information about stepping??
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Peace,
Lisa

I havent seen much stepping, but my frat does a march which was influenced by stepping during the 1950s i believe... anyway here is a flash of it, this is our pledges doing it, actives only do it twice after thier in, 1 at the end of thier first year and again at the end of thier senior year.

We step

I am a member of Omega Tau Pi Social Service Sorority, Est. 1994, we are the sisters to Upsilon Phi Upsilon Service Fraternity, Inc. Est. 1990, not exactly a local since we have no desire to affiliate with a national, (we are a national org with only 20 chapters to date.
Anyway back to the subject
We step and Stroll, we are quite good, we were founded as dance troupes who used the winnings from talent shows to give back to the community...we still do the same thing today...It's fun it's a way to bring the chapter together. It's away to bring the organization together. It can be difficult, but if you decide to pursue this form of activity remember to be patient with everyone. Everyone can't dance, or has the ability to be taught how to dance, but don't exclude them from LEARNING (I didn't say from performing... )
