Matrix: Reloaded

OMG! This movie ROCKED!

I went to the premiere last night, and --wow wow wow, can't wait for the 3rd one to see how it turns out... well, I could read the script since, well, let's just say I know someone....

Its really hard for the middle film in a trilogy to make much sense story-wise--it serves essentially as a bridge between the beginning and the end.

It had its own conflicts and resolutions, while still remaining true to the trilogy...

LOVED IT!!!!!

I am totally excited for Reloaded... although who knows when I actually get to see it. I am way behind on my movies... I still haven't even seen Chicago!

I haven't seen that one yet, either!

I have not even seen The Matrix I yet. I guess I thought it would suck because it has Keanu "I cannot act" Reeves in it, but then everyone started jazzing about The Matrix I. Guess I'll get myself to the Blockbuster and rent it.

Don't get me wrong......

I am totally excited for The Matrix and all.....

BUT

They might have the most ANNOYING merchandising/advertising campaign EVER.

Those Heineken and Powerade commercials really make me not want to go to the movie, honestly. They're just poor. I mean even the HEINEKEN commercial sucks (they generally have great advertising work so I was surprised).

I guess I liked the Matrix originally because not too many people I knew were all bout it and it seemed more cult-ish...and then it blew the hell up. I wish they could at least keep the advertising classy and witty if they can't go for that cult feeling anymore.

I think it's going to be on television Friday night. So you can watch it for FREE!

When it came out, my friends begged me to go see it, and I refused for the same reason as you. Then I saw it a couple months laters and was blown away.

I am so so so jealous of amycat right now.

I don't get to see it until my husband gets back from Europe on the Friday before Memorial Day. He made me promise to wait and not go see it without him
