Exclamation Help!!

I need some ideas/suggestions.

Quickest way to get a good amount of canned goods without going door to door? And I'm talking about within 12 hours, maybe 18.

edited to add: I'm pretty sure it's almost impossible, but wanted to see if any of you had a really good idea.

Ask a supermarket for a donation. Maybe ask for items that have denting or whatever that don't look as nice.

Send a message via AIM to Peaches-n-Cream
Mass e-mail all of your friends and ask them each to contribute a can.

Plenty has already been purchased. We are just trying to get a good amount of last minute cans.

Thumbs up

Depends on how far Alums are?

Work out a thing with local Wal-K-Mart to see if they will allow you to ask for can goods on the outside of the Stores.

Grocery stores are good too! Hell, where people go to buy food, one can isnt going to hurt them!!!!

I always bring canned goods to the store when the postal service does their drive!!

LXA is a hell of a lot biger than theirs!

Yea, LXA! Great North American Food Drive!!!!!

Best bang for your buck with food collection weights: big bags of rice -- or does it have to be canned? Rice bags do qualify as non-perishable though.

Oh gosh, did my chapter get the hook up with rice! Apparently one of the Chi Phi's works at a grocery store that sells by the pound and is going to royally hook it up. We've got our fingers crossed. Thanks everyone.
