What will you be doing for Mother's Day? Any plans with your mom and/or family? I will be graduating from Washington State University this Saturday (Yeah!). I asked my mom what she wanted for Mother's Day, and she said that watching me walk across that stage at graduation will be one of the best gifts I've ever given her! I was in tears...
For Mother's Day, which is also My Honey's Birthday, I will be returning from our State meeting in Buffalo, then taking My Honey to a Mets game, which is what he wanted for his birthday, then we are going to visit our Moms.
Since all three of my siblings are away at college, my Mom won't have a full Mother's day celebration until next week when they come home from school.
Mother's Day is my mommy's birthday, but I'll be in the Queen City attending my friend's graduation from JCSU. Next year, though, I'm planning a belated b'day (mom)/graduation (me) trip for my mother and I. We'll be going to where Ma$e used to spend his time; H-a-w-a-ii!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying to save $$$$ now to pay for our plane tickets as well as the hotel vacation package that my business markets. But shhhhhh, it's a surprise!!!!
And congrats to Im_just_me on her impending motherhood. May it be full of stinky diapers, drool, spit-up, late night feedings, etc. And that's just the beginning.....

Congratulations on your graduation from Washington State Univ. In fact, I will extend my congratulations to all of my sorors who are graduating this semester. A job well done in the tradition of scholarly women.
