I am MAD as HE%6!!!

Okay, greekchatters, I was wondering when you are angry, mad, pissed off whatever what are some things you do. I notice when I am mad I start cleaning, I just got through cleaning out the fridge and am on my way to the rest of the house. I also shop, going to the mall always clams me down. Sometimes I eat sweet things but that isn't that often. What do you do when your MAD!

*Throw things. Hot greasy forks, shoes, eyeglasses, pillows, you name it. At best, at something like the floor. At worst, at someone, who made me mad.

*Play violent playstation games, like Grand Theft Auto, where you can beat prostitutes with hammers.

*Rap or scream with rap or metal music that has violent lyrics.

(Don't worry, I'm not psycho nor an angry black woman. I'm chilled about 95% of the time. )

Talk to the person I'm mad at. I use the word "talk" when I mean yell of course.

Cleaning is good too, when they are not available.

If I'm sorta mad, I just give off attitude
If I'm medium mad, attitude + angry looks
If I'm extra mad, attitude, cigaretts and Metallica/Guns and Roses..

I usually call my best friend. If I can't do that, I may cry and/or take a nap. Sometimes I write poems, letters, journal entries, etc. just to clear my head. Whew!

When I am mad, sad or angry Retail Therapy almost always works for me.

When I'm mad, I give dirty looks and a nasty attitude. I try not to be confrontational, but sometimes I just gotta let folks know how I feel.

When I am mad, I clean too. If i am not at home, i just close my eyes and say something like "Lord Jesus, keep me near the cross" and walk away.

This has so far successfully prevented me from committing assault and battery.

When I'm mad, I usually get really quiet. Being that I'm a quiet person, some people don't even notice I'm mad unless they know me fairly well.

To calm down I'll do one or more of the following:
Call one of my best friends
Sleep
Exercise
Wash my hair
Listen to music
Draw
Shop
Sometimes I'll cook
Play a fighting video game


One thing I try NOT to do, is take my anger out on people other than the ones responsible for my anger.

If it's someone that I know that made me mad and it's something I can't get over, I talk to the person, as peacefully as possible.

I'm a punk...when I am really mad, I cry! OOOH, you better watch out if you have made me mad enough that the tears start flowing, you better take two steps back and one to the left.

I also clean house when I am stressed...not to mention eat!

Lift weights/workout. It's no wonder that I'm starting to look like Serena Williams these days.
