Leaving on a jet plane...

Hey Sisters,
Just wanted let all of you know that I'm going on vacation tomorrow! Five days of fun on the beach in Mexico...I'm sooo excited! I'll be back Thursday, don't get into trouble while I'm gone.

I, too, am leaving on vacation tomorrow (to sunny Clearwater Beach, FL). Don't post too many exciting things without me! I will miss you all and have resisted the urge to take my laptop with me because then I'd spend the whole day in the hotel on GC instead of on the beach!

Its a good thing I don't have a laptop...otherwise I don't know if I could fight the temptation to bring it!

Have a great trip Leslie! Clearwater is beautiful. I have an aunt & uncle with a vacation house there and I enjoy it whenever I go. My plane leaves in a few hours, so this is probably my last message for the day. I'll miss you guys! Adios, sisters!

Hi sisters!
I'm back and I had a fabulous time. The weather was marvelous and the water on the beach was amazing. I also ate myself silly, I think I gained about five pounds. The only problem was that my vacation was too short.

But I'm glad to be back and happy to see that life on GC carried on as usual. When does Leslie get back? I want to hear all about Clearwater!

Hellllllllllo!!! I'm back! Did you miss me? Hee hee hee...I had fun in Florida but it is so nice to be home (I can only take my family for so long before I feel the need to pull my hair out).

Maria...It only rained the day we arrived, the day we left, and a slight sprinkle on tuesday. The beach was great, but I only went in the ocean for a minute because everyone kept talking about shark attacks and sting rays. The only reason I went in the ocean was to get on the boat to go parasailing...man, that was amazing!!! I ended up going up in the chute with a very cute guy named Jason and we had a very nice little chat

...too bad he's from Connecticut. I also got a really good tan though which is good because my latina pride was telling me that I was getting way too white!

Anyway...what's new around here?

Hi Leslie,

So glad you had a good time! I had to laugh when you talked about the rain...I'm surprised it didn't rain more! The humidity down there is unbelieveable. Everytime I went outside when I was in Clearwater, it felt as if I was walking underwater!

I know what you mean about the perils of animals in the water...two members of my family were stung by jellyfish while we were in Mexico.

Luckily, it wasn't anything too serious.
