David Beckham to Real Madrid?

Is he or is he not? Either way, the bid is $60 million, and Beckham's salary is at 105,000 pounds per week, not including bonus. Beckham have said that he is interested in the move. But last media report that the move is very remote (which prob. mean they are negotiating the price). Sorry Man Utd fan if the move goes on.

Wow, that'd be huge.

I'm surprised that's not bigger news on espn.com and other sports sites.

The news out here in England is that Real Madrid is not interested in Becks. They have enough "superstars" on their team and they don't want to pay big bucks to a guy who they think isn't really good enough to be a Real Madrid "superstar" player anyway. In other words, if Becks wants to go there, the feeling isn't mutual.

However, as Arya points out, a team saying that they're "not interested" usually means that they're going to make an offer!

So yeah, that would not be nice for ManUtd fans (aw boo hoo ). It will, of course, be good for Posh - she'll be closer to her European designer clothes boutiques!

I dunno...these people talk and talk...I think there's still a good chance for a bid from Real Madrid.

I think this is more for a marketing strategy. Beckham is the #1 soccer player right now in term of marketing. I think Figo is better then him, but that is another story. Real Madrid want to be the "world's" team, which is right now being occupied by Man Utd. By them getting Beckham, they could definately sell a whole lot more Jersey, especially in Asia where they see him as near god like.

This bid seems weird to me. They already got a fantastic Right Winger in Figo. Unless they're oving Figo to the left. Vieira would have been a better buy in term of the pitch, as he is an excellent AM.

Either way:

Yup, Posh and Becks are married and they have two little boys, Brooklyn and Romeo.

i have this teory that Beckham might be going to Madrid because posh want to be somewhere more glamorous. I mean Manchester as a city suck major bunghole. It's suck, I was dere for bout 6 hours for the Arsenal and Man Utd game last year. I thought, how the hell did Man Utd get so big representing this city?

As much as I love Man United, I still don't think he's the #1 player in the world. Yes his right foot does wonders, but sometimes his decision making is off, and his striking with his left is average. He makes up for it with his awesome free kicks and corners, but I wouldn't say he's "The Best".
