Dear Sisters of Sigma Kappa,
I had not heard from Jenny Bruney in a while so I sent her a short note. She shared some VERY bad news with me and asked me to pass this along.
Jenny,
We love you and our pryers are definetly with you and your family.
God bless you all,
Trisha

Trisha -
My life has changed so much since Wednesday, March 19th. My mother - who was my best friend, confidant and basically my world passed away suddenly. She had blood clots in her lungs last spring which almost killed her - we found out then that it was caused by the combinations of medicines that she was on.
The doctors were weaning her off of medicines and trying her on new meds. - but she was only feeling worse! The chemical imbalance caused severe depression - which they were trying to treat with these new medications.
On Wednesday, March 19th - she could no longer take the pain she felt - she felt she would never get better. The strongest woman I've EVER known took her own life that day - out of desperation!
Needless to say, NO ONE saw it coming. It was a complete shock. My Dad and I will NEVER be the same.
I just arrived back from North Carolina last night. I brought my Dad home with me for a while. We are trying to recoperate - but nothing seems to help! I am so lost right now and I feel like I am just in a horid nightmare! My mother was the most loving, caring woman I ever knew. Her death will change me forever!
Please past this along because I really need the prayers to get my family through this awful time in our lives!
Love, Jenny
