Loss of a sister

Dear Sisters,

It is with great sadness that I write to let you know of the loss of a collegiate sister over the weekend. The philanthropy chairman for Lambda Pi chapter at Georgia College & State University (my collegiate chapter) was killed in a car accident early Friday morning. A sheriff's deputy who was responding to an emergency call went through an intersection and collided with Beth's car. She died at the scene. This is the first time in its history that my chapter has lost a collegiate member. If any DZ would like to send condolences, I have the family and chapter's information. On behalf of all of the sisters of Omicron Nu chapter, I'd like to send my condolences to Beth's friends and family.

She will be in our prayers and in our thoughts. May her memory live on in the flame of Delta Zeta.

Dear sisters,
I am saddened to hear about the loss of Beth from Lambda Pi chapter. I am sure that members of her chapter will bring condolences to her family on behalf of Delta Zetas everywhere who are upset by losing our sister. Please send my personal condolences along with that of the Omicron Nu chapter.
