Steve, that is great. We just Initiated # 617 at Founders Day this weekend.
Also had @ 60 Alums show, the second largest turnout yet!
Everytime I see The Ritual, I get shivers and the hair on the back of my neck stand up! All of the Aluims said the same thing, glad I was not alone!

thats awsome!! just wondering what you do in your chapter for a centry brother. here at UMBC (phi delta) we owe our centry brother a case of their favorite beer, and for every centry back add a case.

hundred guys before or after you as in 1743 or 1943
double century would be 1643 or 2 cases of beer...
nothing is scarier than standing next to 843 as he asks who is 1843...

Or from a different perspective, I'm 41. My 1st Century is 141; Double Century is 241, etc.
To paraphrase Matt, There's nothing nicer that standing next to 541 and he asks Who's 41?
To stay in the thread, we met during initiation a few years ago. Spotted him in the darkness and just KNEW it was 541. We hobnobbed the rest of the weekend. It was cool.
Alot of chapters put emphasis on this. Almost like having another big brother/ little brother. We talk about the beer cases, but it never really happens. More often than not, it's the alums who take care of the younger guys.

LXAgrits,
Welcome to GC!!!! Havent seen you posting before now!!!!!
I think I have talked via Ma Bell to all of the Brothers who are on site!!!!
Was down to BN at Fl. Tech for their F D and met especially Matt Troy U F and Pat Reilly ( B N ) now going to school at U Wyoming!
I guess I only have 6 "centuary Brothers" and have not given it much thought as we dont really do that!
Sounds like a greaat idea tho! But Jono is right, it is usually right taht the Alums do the spending as the "Fine Upstanding College Kids" cant afford it today! In Case You missed that, lookat the first letters of each word! My puny!
Update us on FLS! Always good to hear from new Brothers on site!!!!!

Jono came down for my F D and got a wonderful reception from my guys! I was very glad thinking back on the way you and I were treated! They did me proud!!!!!!
But you and I know that a little Tyrolian Brother with a name like Jono is damn Hard to Forget! Just got off of phone with him and is ass deeper in snow in upper Long Island and here you are Basking in the Fl. Sunshine. Oh by the way, is colder that H in KC! No Sno Tho! Thank goodness!!!!

Hey All...
I am Richard Fong, III and I just initiated into Lambda Chi Alpha, Delta - Nu Zeta UC Riverside chapter. 6, including myself initiated and that brings our total amount initiated to 102. So far its looking good for Spring as we are projecting a total of 10-15 to make our roster at about 40. We currently have 29 members. Its coool.
Anyways, some background history on our chapter. We were colonized on 1/27/1996 and chartered on 11/12/1999, so we are a young chapter compared to many out there, but its all good.
Quick question for anyone to answer. I want to put the greek letters in my signature like Tom Earp has on his profile. How do I do that?
