Mardi Gras Mishap~Help!!!

ok, so I went to this mardi gras party last night, it was really fun but I got wayyyyyyyy too drunk but it didnt really hit me till we were leaving. I decided it would be a good idea to call this guy I dated last year & still occasionally hook up with. Went to his house~fooled around, was soooooo drunk that I think I was mumbling stuff like love you, etc. and it freaked him out. He told me we couldnt do this blah blah and tried to make me take DDS home.....anyways, from what I can remember we kinda resolved it/passed out. The last thing I remember is getting dressed to go to the bathroom....this morning I wake up in some random guys room on the futon!!!!! NO clue how I got there, the guy I was w/ originally also doesnt know...and it was way weird in the morning...and I just kinda left...what do I do?! I want to know what happened that night...and Im also embarrassed because I am sure I said a ton of stupid stuff....help!!!!!

Seriously, get tested. Or else never hook up again because you might have something. Also, if you can find out where you were, you might want to ask whoever's room it was.

I was at theta chi, and supposedly the guy's room who I ended up in is a good guy; I really dont think anything happened...but I am going to find out~I am almost afraid to talk to my hook-up guy because I fear I was really weird/emotional/annoying last night. Guys~how pissed do you get at stupid drunk girls? I dont know how to apologize to him and I am just really embarassed

Actually, they had posters up in the Quarter during Mardi Gras warning girls of this very thing--not to get too drunk--cuz "stuff" happens.

Seriously, if you're going to get that drunk and forget everything, why would you risk anything? GET TESTED!!! That is so dirty.
If whoever you fooled around with doesn't care enough to do it with you, who's to say they haven't slept with 100 other people???
It's the safe and SMART thing to do. And I also second what Optimist Prime said... if you don't get tested then never sleep with anyone again because you might only be spreading it. Seriously, that is so dirty.

An interesting side note I read. During Mardi Gras the crime rate in New Orleans actually goes down.

you definitely need to talk to the guy. were you clothed when you woke up? was everything on right? if you were too drunk to remember what you did and woke up completely clothed the way you were the night before, you probably didn't do anything. if anything was off....well then i don't know what to tell you.

ok well I wouldn't recommend drinking that much since you know you can't control yourself, but thats besides the fact

basically what everyone else said - get tested!

Also, go and talk to the guy - I mean wouldn't you like to know for your own peace of mind? I'm sure whatever pride you had you lost when you ended up half naked on the futon or whatever. suck it up and go talk to him

Nevermind the fact that you don't know if your drink(s) may have been spiked with something, and you may have acted in a way you would otherwise not.

AND you don't know if mystery-man was on anything or had too much to drink. Even "nice guys" can do bad things with too much alcohol or when drugs are involved.

Like everyone else said, get tested. It's never a bad idea anyway.
