First off I want to say congrats to VA Theta and breathesgelatin on your results!

VA Zeta (at Virginia Tech) is currently right in the middle of things..

we have off until friday.. which is a big change from how we use to run things.. they were hoping this would keep girls from dropping out..

on friday night we had a go greek night.. (New)
.....this was a relaxed night where 20 girls from all 13 sororities came together to put on skits, chat with PNMs in their rho gamma groups..

saturday was philanthropy day...
.....the PNMs visited all of the sororities this day

sunday was spirit day...
...skits were shown.. ours was annie this year.. it ended up turning out really cute..

this friday is sisterhood night..
...best night for us

...

saturday will be pref night..

then sunday bid day!!

so far everything is going good... cant talk about it now though since its in the middle but, i will let you know how things turn out..

Sounds really busy, but definitely fun! Can't wait to hear how it all turns out!

We've just started informal recruitment tonight, although since we're the only sorority on campus, we kinda don't follow panhellenic recruitment anyway.

I'm waiting for updates on party #1 and hope we'll all have some wonderful new members to chat about

Tomorrow is BID DAY!! We just finished up pref night. I think that everything went really good. Though we will see tomorrow. I will let you know more after we get our new angels..

oh yeh.. I am thinking based on tonight's numbers that quota should be in the lower to mid 30s.

On Gamma is pledging 9 lovely ladies tonight, one of our largest classes ever! Not only that, but we already have 3 interested in COB.

I'm so happy that recruitment went well for the chapter and am looking forward to getting to know our newest members better

Well I feel I should share the situation that IN Gamma is in...we only got three pledges through formal rush but we've already got that number up to 4! We had 45 girls at our last COB event and are doing COB like formal rush where it's an invitation only process and we go through MS after each COB party. Our goal is to get the pledge class up to 20 at least! Wish us luck...our second party is tonight!

Casino night was last night and we had 20 girls attend. We think the huge drop in attendance was that it was a wed. night at 9:30. It went well and the girls who came seemed to have a lot of fun. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the luck we really need it!

We had 2 girls choose not to pledge at the last minute, so we have 7 now, not 9.

But that's ok cuz we still have COB to look forward too.

Hey, Jess. 20 is still amazing. With luck, all will be wonderful additions to your chapter.

Sorry.. that I did not update things for a while... after rush I have been very busy!

Well we got quota and have 36 great new pledges!!!

We are all really excited bc the past few years we missed quota by a couple. We really needed a strong pledge class this rush, bc we have 41 seniors graduating which is a lot more than normal. Normally its only like 25 or so, then maybe 5 more in December.

Well, I hope that everyone else's rushes turned out great and have fun with your new girls!!

oh yeh.. we also really improved our grades last semester.. we got a 3.14 average!! (which is still like 6th out of the sororities.. but the top six were all real close only off by like .001s!!) We were like almost at the bottom before!

We had bid day at Washington Gamma today, and the lovely Pi Phis at the University of Puget Sound took home the largest pledge class on campus (22, quota was 19), which included 5 legacies, and they are sooooo darling!!! I'm so excited for my little sisters and the most proud AAC rush advisor
