i am trying to remember back to my collegiate days, but i don't think that we ever had a theme other than carnation ball. we made it a very formal affair with a sit down dinner. we also had our sisterhood awards during the carnation ball. we usually splurged for a really nice place!

My chapter did the nice dinner and awards during our carnation ball, too. No other theme aside from carnation ball. We took a cruise on Lake Erie my senior year, but every other formal I attended was held in a ballroom or something like that. There is also a serenade given by the year's phis to the out going seniors which is, of course, a tear jerker. Some favors we had were dated candles (the ones in goblets), shirts with all the sisters' names listed on the back , and picture frames.
