In my best Veruca voice....
"But daddy...I want a 2004 Ford F-150 XL Regular Cab nooooow!"
If not, I'll gladly take a new rack and deck for my car, a coupla roundtrip plane tickets to Vegas and Chicago (for Convention 2004), and that cute Burberry's two piece bathing suit I saw in the window the other day would be nice too.

A couch / chair for my dorm room...train tickets to pretty much anywhere in Europe...ER season 1 on DVD...and then I'm saving Lord of the Rings Two Towers Extended Edition on DVD for my parents to get me -- they almost got me the Fellowship of the Ring one last year, before they realized that I'd bought it on the first day it came out.
I still don't know what to get my parents!!!

1)To be able to be home for the Holidays for the first time since 1999 and see all my siblings.
2) New clothes since all of mine are TOO BIG (oh drat).
3) The boots at REI I have been coveting for the slush and ice here.
4) Some extra spending money for my trip to DC, and to help cover my room after the conference.
5) A kiss from my grad student crush.
6) My own set of tools to take with me to my Habitat for Humanity builds.

My list:
-A Nikon Coolpix digital camera
-New diamond earrings
-A new North Face fleece
-A few DVD's
-Ralph Lauren Romance (I asked the boy for this)
-Burberry Touch (I asked parents for this one)
-Some spending money for clothes
-A new CD player for my car
Last year I had a similar list, except with an mp3 player instead of a digital camera and I got everything EXCEPT the perfume I asked for, which was the cheapest thing on the list! Parents are weird!!
We are also getting the "family gift" of going to Maui for a week in January, I am sooooo excited!!!!
Now I need to find gifts for my parents, my brother, and my boy. I am SO lost...the only thing the boy asked for was a vacuum lol and a new futon. Borrrrring!

Here I go dreaming and wishing again...
First and foremost, to drive or fly up to the bay area and visit my best friend! I miss her so much!
Some spending money for when I do go up to visit her.
A new hair straightener... mine is dead.
Shopping money- I hate getting gift cards or when people buy clothes/shoes for me! I'd rather just go where I want because I'm picky!
A new modem for my laptop.
Seasons 2-5 of Friends, if someone really loves me!
A paintjob for my Beetle- she's in desperate need.
And finally, what I would love more than anything else I could possibly ask for...
To find the love of my life and have him sweep me off my feet... sigh- like that's going to happen. But I can still keep looking and dreaming, right?

How about a 1-way ticket to California and a job to go along with it? Other than that, just money.

I really don't KNOW what I want for Christmas. It would be wonderful if Hubby would just SURPRISE me for once...
I know we are getting these and I do want them, but it's not like a real gift.
1. Gas grill
2. Patio furniture
My son ALWAYS has a thoughtful gift. He really is my bright spot on Christmas Day.
I want to play cards with the family and have them spend a little more time with me during the holidays. That's what I REALLY want.
OH yes-a miracle-SNOW!

I never think about what I want until about December 15th or 16th. Which bothers my mother--she's like, "hurry up and tell me what you want!" I'm in the position where I can basically buy myself what I want, so I really don't want for much.
I would, however, accept:
1). iPod
2). some stuff off of my Amazon.com wishlist--but not any of the architecture books
3). a month of no classes
4). a subsciption to a really good magazine--not that isht like Lucky or Cosmopolitan!
