Talking Perfect Gift

I know this is a little early but I like to get started early, I was wondering if the fellas could help me out with getting my baby a christmas present, If I was your lady what would you want? Or what are some sweet things a lady has given you that just still makes you smile.

Cool Gift?

If you tell us his interests, we could give you some ideas.

All I ask for is is to be left alone for College football on Saturday, Pro Football on Sunday and Monday Night Football!! That would be the greatest gift ever. Seriously, think about him as a person. Not so much a materialistic gift , but something that might mean a lot to him. For instance, I like gangster movies so last christmas my wife bought me the complete Godfather Trilogy. That's was cool. It meant more to me than a new leather jacket or an outfit.

That's ridiculous!! One night per week, that I can do. But three nights a week until next year???? That's not gonna happen. Between Saturday afternoon and Tuesday morning, I'm going to need you to do something. I am barely over five feet tall. So, how do you expect me to keep you fed if I can't even reach half of the dishes. LOL

I agree with you on the sentimental part. I am really good at giving gifts because I have a good memory. Last Christmas, my sister really wanted to go to a day spa. I can't afford that. But, I bought her one of jet spas for the side of her bathtub, candles, bath gels and sponges, and everything that she needed to turn her bathroom into a spa. It cost me less than $50.

Please don't think I'm crazy, but I want picture of my lady to put in my office - a good picture - not one of those you can take at K-mart and the like. I want an alumni sweat shirt, a box of condoms, and tickets to a local sporting game. For my big item gift, I want her to plan a trip somewhere and PAY for it - this is without me knowing any of the details - i.e. when I ask what type of food you want and you say that you don't care and I come home with fish and you say you don't eat fish at certain times of the month or I pull up to the a restaurant and you have your face is frowned because you don't want to eat there . . . I'm going to far with this.

I admit it! I use to do that, but it wasn't because I didn't want to eat there. I only did it if the restaurant was too crowded, especially if a line is out the door to get in. A sistah got to get her grub on!

Get it yo DAYUM self!!!! LMAO!!!

Professor:

I feel your pain on the restaurant thing, basically because I am guilty of that offense. Not frowning up my face, but just a surprised look like "we've been together this long and you really thought I would like this?" I am willing to try different types of food, but I am picky about the atmosphere of the restaurant. I don't want to be in a crowded, loud, smoky, smelly restaurant with bad service. Other than that, I'm up for just about anything.

MY Perfect Gift

Ladies, if you're looking for a suggestion, let me give you this one. My perfect gift at this time would be a nice leather bound watch box with 5 new watches inside. Anyone can buy you a watch, and anyone could buy you watch case. But who sould suspect that when they receive the watch box that it would be full of new watches.

Now I'm not telling you to "break the bank." For starters you could buy a few watches that cost <$100. Or give him the box only half full and fill it over time. Anyway, you get the point.

That's just a favorite of mine. Use it, reject it, whatever, but fellas, you know that's hot idea!

First you need to decide if you are going to get him a gift or a present, and there is a difference.
A present is something that you want him to have.
eg; ooh that sweater will look so nice on my man( and your man hates big thick sweaters oh my bad, that was my ex and myself
A Gift is somthing that he wants, doesn't matter if it's practical or something that he doesn't need
eg; A hand carved elephant, even though the Delta has over two hundred elephant. oops ther i go putting my cousin bussiness ou over the net
the second best gift i can remember recieving( the first being my baby boy) was the novel Jazz by Toni morrison. The person took the time to find out what kind of books i like then who my favorite author was, and the novel Jazz was release about a week before my birthday.

Remember it is the little things that count
