Smile Intro

I just wanted to intorduce myself...

My name's Jessica. I'm an alum of the Gamma Zeta chapter at the University of Rhode Island. I have to say joining Phi Sig was the best decision I ever made. I'm an only child, but I think I have a greater idea of sisterhood than any of my friends. I never thought there could be so many people that so many of the same ideals I did. It was such a great experience.

Since I left I've been trying to keep Phi Sig as part of my life. It's great that I found someplace that I can get in touch with so many other sisters.

Hi There Jessica,

Welcome to the world of virtual Phi Sigma Sigma on GreekChat.

As an alum have you been able to work with any local chapters as an advisor or somewhere else on the national level? Once I go alum either at the end of this year or at best next year I hope to stay involved as a volunteer.

Carolyn

Volunteering

Carolyn...

I haven't been able to volunteer as of yet. I have been moving around a lot since I left school, trying to "find my place in the world." I'm finally settled, though. I did get in touch with someone recently about volunteering, and we're currently deciding what would be the best way to help. I'll also be beginning the process of becoming a member in an alumnae chapter very soon. I've missed being a part of the organization and I am so ready to throw myself back in. I hope that there are more girls out there as willing. I'm glad to hear that you're already thinking about it. That's what makes us such a strong org!
