Snow Sucks
Yea, so good ol Pittsburgh got a heck of a lot of snow tonite. Did Clarion? No, we only got about 10 inches. Is that enough to cancel classes? No. Would 8 feet be enough to cancel classes? No. Clarion does not cancel classes. Would 20 feet be enough? No, and if our cars got stuck and we lived 30 min away the would expect us to walk.
Thats it, Im moving to Hawaii!

Tee hee hee hee...
I saw the weather reports today and some chick was reporting live from somewhere in PA.
I'm sorry.
Even though your classes aren't cancelled, at least you guys have more opportunity to have classes cancelled for bad weather. We only get off when there's a hurricane or tsunami coming...but that only happens like, once every 10 years.
I'll sip an extra maitai on the beach just for you folks, how's that?

Denver has had maybe 6-8 inches of snow all winter. The snowpack in the mountains is 30-40% lower than average. Living in a semi-arid area, that's where all of our water comes from.
No watering our lawns or washing our cars at home this summer if the mountains don't get about 80 more inches between now and April. (They got 8 inches last night).

I came home to visit my parents for mid-winter break (I teach, so I get the kid holidays!) while my husband is still up in Providence in two feet of snow! Ha! I am SO glad I missed that. I got here in Houston on Friday night and it was 73 degrees!

In CT we got around two feet of snow, no classes on Monday and only a half day on Tuesday, yeah snow days mean utter madness up here at UHA, what else is there to do when you are all snowed in together!!

ACK! I wish I were ANYWHERE except for Providence. It is unreal here right now. When I opened my shades this morning, I saw nothing but white. My windows are snowed over. Counting down the days until Spring Break...

Yeah chopper! They didn't plow my apartment complex so my dad had to come pick me up. It wouldn't have been too bad had the snow not drifted behind my car beyond the bumper (and as we know little Geo Prizm's don't go through snow well)! The guy that lives above me parked his car to the side of the garages and it drifted off the roof onto his car. I kid you not, the poor kid had a yard of snow on top of his car...and whatever else was around it.
Thankfully it has been warm enough to melt most of it off the streets (what weren't plowed). I heard that we might get hit again. BLAH! SNOW SUCKS!
