Recruitment Philathrophy

I know this was already a thread but I am desperate need of some help. I am the formal recruitment chair for my chapter and we have a philanthrophy night during spring recruitment. We've been making wish bracelets for the Ronald McDonald house (our national philanthrophy) but I want to try something new.

Any ideas???

dream catchers? lion badges of courage? you could make 'mcdonalds' cookies for them - or you could give them to pnm's - they're cookies that look like hamburgers.... you can decorate pots for potting plants for them or make encouraging cards.... pm me if you want details or more ideas!

When I was a pledge we had to do a class philanthropy project. We made coloring books which we sent back to the Crippled Children's Hospital of Richmond Virginia (now Children's Hospital of Richmond, Virginia). Many years later, I had a special needs child and I know that both he and his older sister really appreciated things like the coloring books that were in the Child Life Center at San Diego's Children's Hospital.

You can put together baskets with toiletries for parents who have to admit their children into the hospital emergentally and did not have time to pack such items but need them while staying near their little ones.

Thanks for the idea, I really like it. But I'm confused as to how you exactly make a coloring book.

For the coloring books we had pages from someplace (one of the education majors prepared the pages) we bound them with colored construction paper and then decorated the covers. The stapled them
