Hypothetical Situations - How would you react?
They may seem kind of morbid; but I thinkg they should provoke some thought.
1. You one day find out that the people who raised you were not your real parents. In fact you had been abducted as an infant and raised as their own.
2. You are driving your car down a winding street. You hear a loud thump but you only see a tree branch in the road behind you. You think nothing of it and drive on; but later on you hear about a hit and run death occuring on the same road at the same spot.
3. You are out deap sea fishing with your mother, your best friend, your only child, and your spouse(fiancee/girlfriend). Something happens that causes the boat to tip and sink. You are the only one who can swim and you can save only one person. Who do you save?
I have other situations; but I don't know if I want to post them. Let's see some reactions.
BTW, Try to think of the repercussions of each decision before choosing one.

1) I would begin looking for my bios by asking the ones that raised me to help me find out what hospital I was born at. They would have records of my parents by my footprints.
2) I would find out the approximate time of the accident, then look under my car and hope I wont have to say "Oops".
3)I would save my spouse(if our thang was still cool; if not, I'd save my child).

1) I would do the same as TOA. I'd be shocked as hell though! But everyone tells me I look like my mom, so I think I'm cool.

LOL @ "Oops"! You will never say "oops"! LOL Ok, that's not funny...(hehehe)
2) I don't know what I'd do b/c if I only saw a branch, then I wouldn't think anything of it. But I think after I hit whatever, I would've gone to like a gas station or some place safe and looked under the car.
3) This is a tuffy. Ok, I would try and save everyone. But if I had to save ONE person...it would be my mom. This is how I rationalized it (this is gonna sound so bad, but...): W/ my husband...although I'm sure I would be deeply in love him, I can marry again. The same w/ my child. I'm sure when I have kids, I'm gonna love'm, love'm, love'm!! BUT, I can have more kids. With my best friend, I'd definitely miss her but I have other friends. But w/ my momma...she gave birth to me. And you only have one momma. I know it's awful, but that's how I figured it out. Like I said, I'd try and save everyone!

1) well...i have always felt a little "different"...so that would explain it
2) i think my first instinct would be to panick...but then i would call the police and tell them that i think i may have hit someone but thought it was just debris in the road...
3) my child! i don't have children but i would think as a woman that "should" be my first instinct...

1) This is a hard one. Abducted?? That's deep. I would definitely start a search for my real family. I can't say right off how I would react to having been abducted. That's really jacked up.
2) For the first few hours, I wouldn't say or do a single thing. I would just sit and pray and hope God would lead me. After that, I would get impatient waiting on God (do I know me, or what?) and call the police or something. My insides would be ripping me apart. I couldn't live peacefully without coming forward.
3) My only child. I would miss everyone DEARLY, but my child deserves the same chance at life as the adults in the boat had.

1. I would look for my real family. I wouldn't hold a grudge against my "abductors", though.
2. I'd be like "Shaggy" or what ever his name is... "It wasn't me!". Look, I looked back, there was nothing in the road but a branch - it wasn't me.
3. My child. Everyone else has had a chance to live their lives. The child hasn't.

1) I could care less who gave birth to me or helped create me in the womb. My parents are the ones who nurtured me, who dried my tears and soothed my fears. I love God who is my Spiritual Father. I love my Daddy (who is not my biological father). I love my Mommy who not only birthed me from her womb but helped me to be the Strong, Beautiful, Intelligent and Confident Woman I am today.
2) I would be horrified that I may have taken someone's life and I would have to call the authorities to assist them in their investigation. I would want to know.
3)I agree with Ideal08 and Tickled Pink, my love for children and their well-being would have me do nothing else. Besides, I have a little 3 year old and I know that my husband would want me to save our son so that he could carry on his memory and the memory of my family. Children are the Future.

3. I would hope that if we were out deep sea fishing and no one knew how to swim, they would at least have life jackets on. Also if we are deep sea fishing, that would imply that we would be very far off the coast, in which case it would not matter who I tried to save because we would probably die before we reached land anyway. Also what happened to life preservers? What kind of idiots are we anyway?

I see your point, but people, especially those who cannot swim, do panic when the boat sinks and may not realize they are wearing a life jacket. They start flailing around can actually swallow heaps of water.
1) I'd stay with the abductors, hey, what can I say. My mom is a ill cook, and I can't give that up for uncertainty.
2) No videotape, not me.
3) My momma, because I know she can't swim and she's the type to panic, I couldn't watch that. Besides she might come back and haunt me.
