What is Delta Gamma most known for?

Hi ladies. I was just wondering what some of your opinions were. I believe we are best known for our sisterhood. And after meeting Delta Gammas from all over the country I really hold this to be true. I believe EO treats us like angels and they are always trying to provide assistance in a friendly and caring manner. We are so lucky to have such compasionate and caring women! I don't believe that I fully understood how great it is to be a DG while I was in college. I believe it may get better with each passing year. Thanks to all of you on here who have been so kind to me. Delta Gamma truely is best friends no matter where you go. OK, now we may all join hands and sing Khum-bah-yah. LOL.

ps. I swear on a stack of bibles this is not a shameless plug. I just was really curious about your answers to this question.

Well, I joined an an AI, not a collegian. That being said, I think DG is really known for its contributions for our sight philanthropy, seeing eye dogs, stuff like that. I was told that the Toronto alumnae association arranged for 2 seeing eye dogs to be given to some people who needed them. The dogs were named "Delta" and "Gamma". How charming is that?

I think DG is also known for Anchor Splash and of course the sailor hats!!

EO is also wonderful and we should be glad for that.

I think DG is also known for academics...at most campus' I think we are pretty high up in the pecking order grade wise.
