That's So Raven

It has FINALLY come. Raven Symone's new show on Disney. SHe plays a psychic teen. So far all I see is an obnoxios teenager who is "animated."

The show stars: Raven, Orlando Brown (played 3J on Family Matters), Soror Crystal T'Keyah Keymah (COSBY & Living COlor) and Rondell Sheridan (My Cousin Skeeter).

I don't know why but I will watch the eps tonight that are on.

I saw the previews and I often find myself singing along to "THAT'S SO RAVEN".

Still, I miss the old days when Raven Symone was actually cute and adorable.

The whole PSYCHIC thing is not working for me. I liked her as OLIVIA but now she is just OBDAYUMNOXIOUS!!

I will keep watching I guess. I try to support Black shows. The teen is in a 2 parent home; makes good grades; she just psychic

I did like the episode last night with her and her little brother's birthday party.

I've been seeing the commercials for awhile now and until last night, I never caught onto the "psychic" thing. WTF? I just thought it was a cute little sitcom of adolescent kids. WTF...Raven can see into the future?

I like Raven. I think she has a lot of talent. However, I believe that she's been "pushed" a little too hard by her parents into showbiz. I also think that she tries a little "too hard" when she's acting or doing whatever.

One more thing....how the heck old his little Miss. Olivia these days? Uh...she's rather "developed".

Prayerfull that child is BUSTY!!! I was peeping that last night -- her breasts and those dayum flowers she kept wearing.

I reckon she is 16 or so but she is a GROWN 16. She is really pretty but she is OVERDONE. Since you have kids, do you ever catch the Disney kids commercials, where they interview the "Stars of Disney" about various topics? She comes off in my eyes as OBNOXIOUS even then. SHe is constantly "talking with her hands." I guess I am just a Kyla Pratt fan.

EDITED: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Raven-Symone
According to this page, she is 17 -- December 10, 1985.

17? Isn't she getting a little old for Disney?

17??????

Oh...see...I'm getting a little old....'cause I thought that little Miss. Olivia couldn't possibly be more that 13 or 14 already. Actually, I guess if she's already 17, then she's just really well developed for a 17 year old. I was rockin' a C-cup by my senior year of high school. I thought she was about 13 or 14 though...so I was thinking she was over-developed.

CT4...I'm a big Kyla Pratt fan also. I like how she stays looking and acting HER AGE! Yep..I see those Disney commercials all the time and it does look to me like Raven's trying to do too much.

Ok, I can't believe I share a B-day with this child. I thought they dressed her as a clown on Cosby and I've never been a real big fan of hers.

Little Miss Raven was 5 in 1990 when she appeared on Cosby so I guess that is about right.

Hayle on the Cosby Show the ONLY one who dressed NORMALLY on a CONSISTENT BASIS was BILL because some stuff Claire wore around the house was ummmmm . However VANESSA and DENISE get my vote for "WTF was the SHOW'S STYLIST THINKING!!"

Please add "WTF was the HAIR stylist thinking" for Vanessa and Denise...PLEASE!!!

If Vanessa was going to wear a natural, they at least could have had it tapered even and nicely styled. Nicely styled did not mean add a head band either.

And Denise...well

I don't like this show one bit!! First of all, I just can't get down with the psychic thing. Secondly, I liked her better when she was Olivia, even though she messed "The Cosby Show" up. Third, has anyone seen "The Proud Family" lately?? I have noticed that Raven's show comes on on the same days, nights, and times that "The Proud Family" used to come on! So, has Disney gotten rid of Penny and 'nem, or just rescheduled them to a different day and time??

Thanks, CT4. No wonder I haven't seen it lately; it comes on while I'm still in class!!

it just started that this week though but it still comes on on the weekends as well.

I really need for them not to show 2 eps of Sister Sister and Boy Meets World anymore. I need another tv show. I also need newer eps of the Proud Family on a more regular basis.

I am still thankful though for a Black cartoon for our young people and me too.

I still watch the show. Does anyone else?

She still gets on my nerves with her mannerisms, however, without her OVERACTING this is a good show. The shows have good messages without the PSYCHIC CRAP. I am around teenagers all day everyday and I know NO ONE who acts like her. She is FLAMINGLY FLAMBOYANT.
